What's happening?

The Learning to Drive consultation is happening now! It will help us discover what people would like to see in a new training, testing and driving for life programme.

The Driving Standards Agency (DSA) is part of the Department for Transport (DfT). We set driving standards for everyone in Great Britain and we also control the driving tests.

We have recently published a consultation paper called Learning to Drive, which sets out proposals for a major review in the way we learn to drive. The consultation paper explains the reason why change is important and how members of the public can be involved in the process.
